A Letter from Head of School, Chuck Jackson – Our Vision

I am excited to share an important milestone in our school’s journey as we unveil our new vision: “To create equitable learning opportunities for all students to become creative thinkers equipped to make a global impact.”

Incorporating input from families and staff, this vision reflects our deep commitment to ensuring that every student is given the tools, support, and opportunities to thrive in an ever-changing world. We believe in fostering creativity, critical thinking, and empathy within our students, preparing them not only to succeed academically but also to make meaningful contributions as global citizens. At the heart of this vision is our dedication to equity—creating an environment where all learners can access high-quality education and reach their full potential, regardless of background or circumstances.

As we move forward with this renewed sense of purpose, we will continue to align our programs, initiatives, and culture with this vision, ensuring that it guides our decisions and strategies. Our goal is for each student to emerge from our school as an innovative, compassionate leader who understands their power to make a positive global impact.

We have identified the following priorities to help us achieve our vision:

  • The International Curriculum – This is the foundation of our school, so we will use it thoroughly. As part of the curriculum, we will live and model personal goals.

  • Alignment – Levels will work together to ensure the staff, student, and family experience is consistent across all levels.

  • Data-Driven: We continually gather, analyze, and utilize data to guide instructional, program, and whole-school decisions.

  • Equity-Focused – Our dedication to equity ensures an inclusive environment where every learner is empowered to succeed.

We are excited for the journey ahead and grateful to have each of you—our students, families, staff, and community—join us in bringing this vision to life.

Warm regards,

Chuck
